The ferryboat from Mindin to Saint-Nazaire

Autrefois, avant la construction du pont de Saint-Nazaire, dans les années cinquante et soixante, nous prenions le bac entre Mindin et Saint-Nazaire.

Formerly, before the bulding of Saint-Nazaire bridge, on the fifties and the sixties, we took on the ferry between Mindin and Saint-Nazaire.

Le pont est plus pratique et plus rapide, mais la traversée de l'estuaire de la Loire avait l'agrément d'une courte croisière.

The bridge is more practical and faster, but the crossing of the estuary had the loveliness of a short cruise.
