Radiothérapie du cerveau - Radiotherapy of the brain

La radiothérapie du cerveau et de la sphère ORL nécessite une très grande précision afin de ne pas endommager les tissus sains. Les masques servent à bloquer la tête ou l'ensemble tête/cou/épaules.

The radiotherapy of the brain and of the sphere ENT makes necessary a very great precision not to damage the healty tissues. The masks serve to block the head or the group head/neck/shoulders.

Côté visage, un trou a été pratiqué pour le nez (rassurant).

Côté nuque sont notés nom, prénom du patient, références destinées aux opérateurs.

Sur chaque face des repères ont été tracés.

Le masque est fixé sur le lit au moyen de clips.

The mask is blocked on the bed by means of clips.

Installation du patient - Une cale est placée sous la tête, une autre, avec deux gouttières, une pour chaque jambe, les maintiens repliées. Le lit est étroit et dur pour éviter de bouger.
