La salle de radiothérapie est un véritable bunker car le rayonnement doit rester confiné. Une large et épaisse porte (15 cm ?) plombée y donne accès. Un couloir coudé la précède. Là se trouve le matériel de radiothérapie (pour plus de précision : ici ). Le patient installé, les infirmières se retirent dans la salle des opérateurs et ferment la porte. Une caméra permet de surveiller le patient et de pouvoir intervenir aussitôt en cas de problème.

The radiotherapy's room is a real bunker because the radiation must stay confined. We accede to it by a leaded, wide and thick door (15 cm ?). A bent passage precede it. Here we find the equipment of radiotherapy (for more precision :  here ). The installed patient, the nurses withdraw in the room of the operators and close the door. A camera allows to watch the sick person and to intervene immediately in case of problem.

Les murs de la salle de radiothérapie sont couverts de masques. Quelques-uns sont rangés dans une armoire. Par ailleurs il y a donc une caméra et des amplificateurs qui diffusent un fond musical déstressant. La radiothérapie dure souvent moins d'une minute.

The walls of the radiotherapy-room are covered of masks. Some are tidied up in a cupboard. Besides there are thus a camera and amplifers which broadcast a relaxing background music.
